Fun Fact: This was the very first post ever made on this forum.
This is my sheet from Reddit, though I've updated it slightly:
Character Name: Orville Williams
Biographical Information: Orville was born in a poor mining town on Mason Island, a snowy island in North Blue. As a child, both of his parents died in a mining accident, so he had to start mining on his own just to survive, going deeper into the ground than any other miner on the island, sometimes on excavation journeys spanning several days in the mines. Pirates and treasure hunters have come to his mine many times over the years, trying to claim the gold he needs to survive for themselves, and having to fight them off for fifteen years has made him a force to be reckoned with. Orville would usually take whatever treasure his enemies had for himself after defeating them, and obtained his Devil Fruit this way. Eventually, the mine dried up, and Orville, remembering the wealth that all of those pirates and treasure hunters had, decided to depart from home and head off to sea in search of new fortune.
Class: Zoan
Power: Orville's starting power would probably be equivalent to Sanji's starting power. Able to take down high-ranking enemy pirates and weaker captains, but not stronger captains.
Race: Human when not transformed, Golem when transformed.
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Hair: None, but a dark-grey beard.
Skin: A light, stone-colored grey, as a result of eating the fruit.
Eyes: Grey as well.
Height: 6'10" when human, 8' when partially transformed, 10' when fully transformed
Weight: 300 lbs when human, 600 lbs when partially transformed, 1000 lbs when fully transformed
Place of Birth: North Blue, Mason Island. A snowy, mountainous island with many caves and mines.
Enemies: Orville's made himself an enemy to many pirates and treasure hunters from North Blue, although most of them are too afraid of him to try and take revenge.
Allies: None yet, although he's fond of honest working people, and will fight to protect them from more powerful aggressors.
Occupation: Miner
Appearance: In human form, a large, muscular man with grey skin and a short, scruffy beard. When partially transformed, his height increases, and his skin gets covered in a thin layer of stone, similar to armor plating. As a full golem, he looks larger, and is made entirely out of stone, inside and out.
Fashion of Choice: Mining helmet, red jacket, sturdy black pants.
Armor of Choice: None, just the helmet.
Weapons of Choice: As a miner, Orville's accustomed to utilizing shovels and pickaxes. However, his primary combat weapon is a large maul (big hammer) used for smashing boulders in the way of his work, which he affectionately refers to as "Judah".
Special Abilities:
-Without Fruit: Without using his Devil Fruit powers, Orville has superhuman strength and is proficient in utilizing his hammer for combat purposes. Outside of combat, he also has basic survival skills, including cooking, first-aid treatment, and creating shelter, all of which he had to learn for several-day trips into the mines.
-With Fruit: Orville ate the Human Human Fruit: Model: Golem. Because of this, he can turn partially or fully into a golem. At his halfway point, Orville's strength remains the same, but his height increases and his body gets covered in stone plating. This increases his defenses, and he can curl into a stone ball for mobility. Fully transformed, Orville grows even taller, and his already-superhuman strength quadruples, and while he's not as mobile as his hybrid form, his body turns completely to stone, inside and out. While in this form, his defenses are at their strongest, and he does not feel pain, but he still does sustain damage, and cannot receive medical treatment in this state, so he has to turn back at some point.
Specific Techniques:
Stone's Throw (Golem Form):] While in full golem form, Orville utilizes his incredible strength to throw something with intense force, turning it into a devastating projectile. This can be used to toss cannonballs, his hammer, and other objects for an intense ranged attacked. It can also be used to toss allies for quick transportation, most commonly used to raid enemy ships and strongholds.
Boulder Dash (Hybrid Form): While halfway between human and golem forms, Orville can curl up into a boulder. This allows him to move faster, as well as attack enemies and act as a sentient wrecking ball.
Joseph's Wrath (Golem Form): Orville squeezes somebody in golem form, crushing their bones and immobilizing them painfully.
Judah's Justice (Any Form): Orville swings his hammer Judah from above, driving the opponent into the ground like a nail.
Personality: Although having had to fight on his own his entire life, Orville knows that he's intimidating to most people, and acts very friendly so as not to scare people. Still, if angered, he will not hesitate to pound a foe within an inch of their life. Orville does not kill, but if sufficiently antagonized, he will settle for immobilizing a foe through brutal means. He also sees himself as a hero, having had to fight to protect his mine and town from pirates over the years, and will fight injustice when he sees it.
Alignment: Anybody who earns his respect, he swears to protect. He is not fond of the government, but does not begrudge lower-level marines, who are just following orders.
Dream: Orville wants to be remembered in history as a hero to the common man.
Disposition: As mentioned before, Orville is friendly and compassionate until angered. When angered, he fights with quiet rage.
Outlook: Thinks it's best to help others, and for people to get along. Even when he's mad, he will not kill people, as he thinks taking a life is the worst injustice there is.
Well, there it is. I think it's a pretty good character build, don't you?
